Shipping & Delivery

We will make every effort to despatch goods within two working days, and hope to achieve delivery to UK addresses within seven days of receipt of your order, provided the goods are in stock. However, from time to time, through circumstances beyond our control, this may not be possible as in the event that an item proves to be very popular due to media coverage or with busy periods like Christmas. Please see below for next-day and overseas despatches. Please allow up to 30 days for out of stock items and overseas orders.

Standard Delivery

UK orders are despatched usually by Royal Mail using their SECOND Class Service. Postal prices are worked out according to weight and currently stand at £3.95 for under 1kg, £3.95 for 1-5kg, and £9.95 for heavier parcels. You can expect to receive your order within 4 working days.

If you require your goods urgently, you can select the 24 hr (Monday – Friday) courier option. This option is currently £8.50 and orders must be placed before midday.

Overseas Deliveries

The cost of overseas deliveries is totally dependent on weight so will be worked out at the checkout page.

Overseas orders will be sent by air or surface mail depending on your choice of delivery. The cost for despatching goods overseas is totally dependent on weight and is calculated automatically at the checkout. There are choices of Airmail andEconomy Mail. Economy mail is a cheaper option to non-european countries but can take up to 10 weeks for orders to be delivered.

There may be local duty and/or taxes payable on goods delivered outside the UK. Bah Humbugs is not responsible for paying these charges.

Order Tracking

It is possible to view your orders online. If you logged in using your password you may have online access to your order history and track progress of any current orders.

Privacy & Security

We respect the privacy of all our customers and website users and take great care with the information we obtain. The personal data we collect from you will be used to fulfil your order as requested. By using this website you consent to us collecting and using personal information about you in accordance with the terms set out herein. We may also use customer data and order data to undertake statistical analysis for internal use. From time to time we may contact you with information about Bah Humbugs merchandise or other Bah Humbugs activities that you might be interested in. Your personal information will not be passed on to third parties.

We take the security of all your personal information seriously. However, Internet transmissions are never completely private or secure. As this website may contain links to other websites we recommend that you check the privacy and security policies and procedures of all such other websites you visit. You understand that any message or information you send to this website may be read or intercepted by others unless there is a special notice that a particular message is encrypted.

Amendments

We reserve the right to alter amend add to or remove all or any part of this Policy Statement at any time without notice and any changes to this Policy Statement or any other terms shown on our website apply with immediate effect of being published. By continuing to use this website after any changes are displayed you indicate your acceptance of those changes.

Bah Humbugs will retain your details in order to send you information in future on Bah Humbugs retail products, offers and events. If you wish to receive this information please tick the box.

Refund Policy

If you are not entirely satisfied with any item you receive, or it has been damaged in transit, please return it to us (in its original packaging and with all relevant documentation) within 28 days. Once we receive the item(s), we will issue a refund or replacement(s), whichever is requested and depending upon availability. Refunds will be issued within 30 days of receipt of the returned goods. A refund will be issued for postage paid only when the item is found to be defective or incorrectly supplied from the original order. If you fail to return goods at your expense, Bah Humbugs reserves the right to charge the direct costs for their recovery and may offset that amount against any refund due.

Please note that when returning an item, the parcel is your responsibility until it reaches us. We recommend that you ask your Post Office for a proof of posting (available free of charge). This guarantee does not affect your statutory rights. Opened products cannot be returned.

Ordering

We have designed this site so that you can find the things you want in a number of ways.

Browse Menus: On the left of the screen there is a menu of store sections to browse. Selecting an option in the menu will take you to the respective store section. Here you will find information and featured products and a list of sub-categories to continue browsing from.

Search: Using the Search box at the top left of the screen, you can type in product names or descriptions and click on ENTER. Part words are fine - This will bring up a list of products where the name or description matches your search. Words separated by a space will be looked for independently but only products containing all the words entered will be returned. Enter multiple words separated by spaces (e.g. typing cola bottles will bring up a list of items with BOTH the word cola AND the word bottles).

Product Results:

Once you have selected a category to view, carry on as follows:

1. Choose an item you want to find out more about by clicking on the name or picture.

2. This will bring up a page showing the item in greater detail. Click on the picture again for a larger view.

3. Click on the 'Add to basket' button to add the selected item to your basket.

4. Where asked, select your preferred options, such as colour or size.

5. Repeat steps 1-4 to find and select further products.

6. Click on your Shopping basket to view the items you have selected. You can remove items or change the quantity of each item on this page.

7. Once finished, check your shopping basket is correct then proceed to the checkout. You will be able to amend your order at this stage.

If you prefer to order by post or telephone, we will be very happy to process your order. Please note that orders received online are automated and therefore, will be given priority.

By Post

1. If possible, please use the shop online shopping basket as if placing an order online. Instead of using the log-in and registration simply print out the order form page.

2. Alternatively, list clearly the item number, description and price.

3. State clearly the item and quantity required and calculate the total price.

4. Add the price of postage and packing - click on delivery to assign the correct charges.

5. Supply your full name, address (of the credit card holder – and credit card holder's name if different) and daytime contact details (telephone and email).

6. Supply delivery address if different.

7. Supply credit card details with expiry date. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Switch, Connect and Delta cards.

8. If paying by cheque, please make cheques payable to Bah Humbugs. We recommend that you do not send cash through the post.

By telephone

Please follow the above guidelines and telephone our online shop customer services team on 01765 688997. We will ask you to provide us with the above details over the phone.

Your card will not be debited until the goods are ready for despatch. We recommend that you do not send personal or financial details to us via email as they will be insecure.

Payment, Pricing & Promotions
 
Online, we accept Paypal, Visa, Visa Delta, Mastercard and Maestro cards.

We will not retain your credit card details after your order has been processed. We will retain your email and postal address details unless you opt out at the time of placing your order. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for further details.

For International orders, all payments will be taken in Pounds Sterling. Shipping costs are dependent on weight and type of shipping chosen.
