Black Bullets

Black Bullets, Hard round boiled mints - just like a bullet, and flavoured with Peppermint Oil. These are a classic Northumbrian sweet, made by a company called Jesmona and they were always to be found in the mining villages and ship yards in the North East. A great addition to the shelves of our traditional sweet shop and a favourite amongst our sweets online

Today they're made by Maxons of Sheffield, but still under the name of Jesmona.

Here at Bah Humbugs, these sweets bring back fabulous childhood memories of our dinner ladies having these sweets in their pockets to give to well behaved children. Happy days! I guess today's dinner ladies wouldn't be allowed to do this!
