What are your most nostalgic childhood memories?

Running a sweet shop means that i hear loads of nostalgic childhood memories from my customers. If i could have a penny for every time i childhood memory i hear then i’d be a rich lady! Here are some of my favourite childhood things:-

Favourite TV Shows – The A-Team, Dukes of Hazard, The Littlest Hobo ("Maybe tomorrow..”), Wacaday, Thundercats, Button Moon

Favourite Sweets - Dip Dabs, Kola Cubes, Proper Midget Gems, Mintolas & Pacers

Favourite Games - Laggy (an elastic game in Masham school), What’s the Time Mr Wolf, Dodgeball, Hopscotch (desperate to draw one of these on the pavement outside the shop).

Here are some of my nostalgic happy childhood memories:- 1. Watching The A-Team on a Saturday afternoon with my sister and 4 brothers, as soon as i hear "dur dur dur…..” i’m transported back to the playroom sitting on bean bags squinting at the tiny portable tele we had! 2. Dad picking me and my sister up from riding lessons and being allowed either a packet of Mintolas (bit like After Eights) or Munchies – remember those? 3. Going Logging on a Sunday – I grew up on a farm and we all had to go to help dad logging in the winter months, it was good fun, though we always used to all fall out. The smell of sawdust…and i’m right back there!
