Liquorices from Bah Humbugs
LIQUORICE - it's a bit of a Love it / Hate it kind of sweet.. are you a lover of Liquorice or can you not stand the stuff? I'm always amazed at just how many people do love Liquorice and stock up on loads of different bags of the black stuff here in our sweet shop.
We have approximately 60 different liquorices on offer at Bah Humbugs from throughout the world, and all of them draw much attention. People always ask me why we sell so many Liquorices from Holland, Belgium and Scandinavia. And the answer is, Grandma Humbug (my mum) used to work as an Au Pair in Amsterdam and made lots of lovely Dutch friends whilst she was there who she has stayed in touch with ever since. When these family friends used to come and visit us they'd bring us mountains of Liquorice to try....and if the truth be told, i've actually only really started to like Liquorice in the last few years. Anyway, I decided to get a couple of these liquorices in to sell in the shop for nostalgic reasons and they sold really well. So i increased the product lines and well, the rest is history. We have a great following in terms of Liquorice fans and we send it all over the world.
